Waxed Fabric and DWR Treatment

The main material of the Fjell Trousers is a soft yet durable waxed cotton-blend fabric designed for active outdoor use. The waxed surface provides additional protection in changing outdoor conditions and helps the fabric withstand demanding use.

The trousers also feature a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that helps water bead up and roll off the surface. The treatment also reduces the tendency of mud and other dirt to adhere to the fabric.

The Fjell Trousers do not feature a waterproof membrane. This provides a simpler and more breathable construction, but the trousers are not intended to replace waterproof shell trousers in prolonged or heavy rain.

Stretch Panels for Improved Mobility

The Fjell Trousers are designed especially for situations where good freedom of movement is essential. Flexible stretch panels and articulated knees make walking, bending, crouching, and moving across uneven terrain easier.
