Quiet and Flexible Material

The Hill Trousers are made from a blend of 54% polyamide, 39% polyester, and 7% elastane. This combination provides a good balance of durability, comfort, and flexibility.

The elastane gives the fabric plenty of stretch when walking, crouching, or stepping over obstacles. This makes the trousers particularly well suited to active hunting, where clothing needs to move naturally with the wearer.

The material is also designed to be as quiet as possible, helping reduce unnecessary clothing noise when approaching game.

PFAS-Free DWR Treatment

The outer fabric features a PFAS-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that helps repel moisture and dirt. Light rain, wet vegetation, and splashes are less likely to soak into the fabric immediately, while the treatment also helps reduce the accumulation of dirt.

The Hill Trousers do not feature a waterproof membrane. Their main advantages are breathability and freedom of movement, but waterproof shell trousers are recommended for prolonged or heavy rain.

Quiet Magnetic Pockets

Both thighs feature large flap pockets with magnetic closures. The magnetic fastening allows the pockets to be opened and closed quickly and quietly compared with alternatives such as hook-and-loop fasteners.

Inside the right thigh pocket is an integrated cartridge holder that keeps ammunition organized and readily accessible.

The upper section of the trousers also features two open, easily accessible pockets for smaller items.

Elasticated Waist and Adjustable Leg Openings

The rear of the waistband is elasticated, allowing the trousers to adapt to the wearer’s movements and changes in body position throughout the day. At the front, a jeans-style button and an internal security button provide a secure closure during active use.

Adjustment straps at the leg openings allow the trousers to be tightened around hunting boots or wellingtons. A closer fit around the footwear also helps reduce the amount of debris and vegetation entering the trouser legs.
