HWS® – Protection Against Rain and Wind

The Aspire HWS features Härkila Weather System, or HWS®, membrane technology, which makes the jacket completely windproof and waterproof. A hydrostatic head rating of up to 20,000 mm provides effective protection even during prolonged rain and demanding hunting conditions.

The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the outer fabric helps water bead and roll off the surface while also reducing the accumulation of dirt. Inside, the breathable mesh lining helps move moisture away from the body during active movement.

Quiet Outer Fabric for Hunting

The jacket’s outer fabric is made from brushed tricot polyester, combining durability with quiet performance. The soft surface reduces rustling noise while moving, making the jacket particularly suitable for hunting situations where minimizing noise is important.

The Aspire HWS works especially well as a versatile all-round hunting jacket. Its relatively lightweight construction also makes layering easy. In colder temperatures, a fleece or insulating midlayer can be worn underneath for additional warmth.

Effective Ventilation for Active Hunting

Zippered ventilation openings under the arms can be opened during climbs and other physically demanding activities. This allows excess heat and moisture to escape quickly without having to remove the jacket.

Adjustable cuffs and hem allow the fit to be customized while helping prevent cold air and moisture from entering the jacket.

Two Radio/GPS Pockets

Zippered radio/GPS pockets are located on both sides of the chest, allowing a hunting radio to be carried on either the right or left side according to personal preference. The pockets also feature antenna openings, making it practical to use hunting radios equipped with long antennas while keeping the device securely inside the pocket.

The jacket also features two large zippered side pockets and a zippered inner pocket for securely storing essential small items.

Practical Game Pocket

A spacious game pocket is located on the back and features an easy-to-clean nylon lining. It can be used for carrying small game or other equipment needed during the hunt and can be easily wiped clean after use.

The integrated hood can be adjusted to suit the wearer, while the shapeable brim provides additional protection for the face in rainy conditions.
