HWS® – Effective Protection Against Rain and Wind

The HWS® (Härkila Weather System) used in the Aspire trousers is a membrane system developed specifically for hunting. It is waterproof, windproof, lightweight, and breathable, while also being designed to remain as quiet as possible during hunting. The HWS® membrane has a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and a manufacturer-stated breathability rating of 20,000 g/m²/24 h.

The DWR treatment on the outer fabric helps water bead up and roll off the surface while also reducing the accumulation of dirt. Härkila uses a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment in the Aspire range.

Quiet Outer Fabric for Active Hunting

The outer fabric is made from durable yet quiet tricot-faced polyester. The material helps reduce noise when the trousers come into contact with vegetation and other terrain, which is particularly important when stalking.

Inside, the Comfort Mesh lining helps wick away moisture and improves comfort during physically demanding hunts.

Adjustable Fit from the Knees to the Leg Openings

The Aspire HWS Trousers feature adjustment behind the knees, allowing the fit of the trouser legs to be customized around the knee area. This helps keep the trousers securely in place while providing freedom of movement in steep, rocky, or otherwise challenging terrain.

The leg openings are also adjustable, allowing them to be tightened securely around hunting boots or wellingtons. The raised waist provides additional protection for the lower back, while a double snap-button closure secures the waistband.

Practical Pockets and Cartridge Holder

The trousers feature easily accessible open upper pockets as well as zippered thigh pockets for securely storing essential equipment. Inside the right thigh pocket is a cartridge holder that keeps ammunition organized and readily accessible when needed.
