Svala Airbase Raglan Base Layer

Svala Airbase Raglan Shirt is designed to withstand heavy wear and all kinds of conditions. The mesh knit loops trap air efficiently and are breathable, making it suitable for both cold and warm weather. The shirt is incredibly comfortable and warm against the skin, allowing you to enjoy high-intensity activities, breaks, and changing temperatures without worry.

This mesh shirt is a reliable companion for outdoor work and hobbies. It can be worn, for example, while kayaking in summer or under hiking/hunting gear in conditions ranging from summer heat to mild frost. In intense physical activity, it performs well even in temperatures as low as -15°C. In colder weather, the mesh shirt can be worn under thermal layers, where it transfers moisture to the outer layer, provides ventilation, and forms a warming air layer on the skin’s surface.

The shirt is form-fitting and flexible, featuring an O-neck and raglan sleeves. The shoulder seams are designed to avoid pressure points when carrying gear — there is no seam directly on top of the shoulder. Instead, the seams are positioned on both sides of the shoulder line, allowing for a better fit across various shoulder widths. The back hem is longer. Made from 100% polypropylene yarn that has been treated with antibacterial properties before spinning, the shirt stays fresh longer. The Svala Airbase Raglan Shirt doesn’t require frequent washing — just air it out after use.

Wash: 60°C. Preferably in a laundry bag to prevent the mesh knit from catching on, for example, zippers of other garments. Washing can be done less frequently by airing the shirt between uses.
