PARD Pantera-256 Q – Your Reliable Companion in the Dark
Compact, versatile, and dependable, the Pantera-256 Q is a thermal sight you can trust even in the darkest conditions.
Usage Range and Optimal Distances
The PARD Pantera-256 Q is best suited for short to medium-range observation and hunting. However, its sensitivity and image quality also make it usable at longer distances depending on the situation.
Target Detection by Distance:
-
0–300 meters – Excellent for detail recognition: animal shape, behavior, sex, or antlers are clearly distinguishable. Ideal range for stalking or stand hunting.
-
300–700 meters – Thermal signature remains clear. You can reliably identify species and track movement. Great for surveillance or wildlife monitoring in open terrain.
-
700–1200 meters – Target is visible thermally, but fine details may not be discernible. Suitable for search, patrol, or security monitoring when movement or heat presence is the key.
Summary
The Pantera-256 Q performs best at 50–600 meters, where image clarity, detection precision, and detail interpretation are optimal. While it’s not intended for extreme long-range shooting or maximum magnification, it offers an excellent balance between compact size, image quality, and usable range, making it especially well-suited for diverse terrain applications.
