All custom arrows are hand made ready to the level you request. When made to completion, all that is needed is a practice tip or broadhead and you are ready to shoot.

The Carnivore is Black Eagle’s premium 100% carbon hunting / 3-D shaft. It’s flight characteristics were designed by experienced professional shooters to optimize speed, kinetic energy, and penetration for a wide range of environments. The Carnivores are each weight-sorted and spine-matched to offer the most consistent grouping. This shaft’s exceptional durability and accuracy is sure to bring home the trophy deep in the woods or on the 3-D course.

This chart is normalized for modern compound bows with IBO speeds between 280-330 fps. For faster bows, read chart one block down and to the right. For slower bows, read chart one block up and to the left. Chart not applicable for traditional bows. NOTE: Actual arrow spine deflections do not necessarily match the manufacturer’s marketed spine sizes (Gold Tip 5575, Carbon Force 200, Carbon Express 60/75, etc.). Manufacturer spine sizing systems may be arbitrary (100, 200, 300, 400) and may or may not reflect the arrows’ actual spine deflections. For example, a “Carbon Express Maxima 250″ has an actual spine deflection of .404″, not .250” as the sizing suggests. In this case, the rating system is arbitrary. To be safe, DO NOT assume an arrow’s published spine size matches the arrow’s actual deflection. ABOUT OUR CUSTOM ARROW PROGRAM:

EVERY ARROW IS HAND BUILT FROM RAW SHAFTS` Hand-building arrows allows us do things our big-box competitors cannot. Every raw shaft and its components are checked for flaws in manufacturing before assembly. Every shaft gets properly prepped and every fletch is hand-checked for proper adhesion. Then all nocks are oriented and each arrow is trimmed to your specifications on one of our 8,000 rpm high-speed arrow saws. We then install your inserts, practice tips (if ordered separately) and clean the arrows to remove any oils or glue residues. Finished arrow sets must then pass a thorough multi-point inspection before being cleared for shipment to our customers. We realize we’re not building ballistic missiles here, but we’re quite serious about our arrows. When your custom arrows arrive, we want you to be impressed. Our custom arrows are delivered at your exact specs and they’re 100% ready-to-shoot. This is the kind of service you can only get from a real archery pro-shop, and we’re proud to set a quality standard a machine simply can’t match.

EVERY ARROW IS READY-TO-SHOOT` Don’t be fooled by the so-called “field ready arrows” offered at big-box stores and many dealers. They are NOT finished arrows. Big-box arrows are simply full length raw shafts which have been machine-fletched with the cheapest available materials (often overseas). They are certainly NOT ready for field use and their quality cannot compare with hand-built customs. Not to mention, the customer gets very little choice buying machine fletched pre-fabs. Most of the time, you just get whatever is in the box and you live with it. We think that’s a pretty low standard.

WORK DONE JUST FOR YOU` Custom arrows are BUILT AND CUT TO YOUR ACTUAL ORDER SPECIFICATIONS. Nothing is made in advance. No process begins until you place your order. But be advised, once we crack the eggs and start your omelette, we can’t put it all back in the shell for someone else later. Custom arrows cannot be returned to stock. Once fletched, inserted, or trimmed to length, custom arrow orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged – except in rare cases of manufacturer defects or shop-errors on the order. So be sure of your specifications before ordering. Once a custom set of arrows is built JUST FOR YOU, they’re yours. Of course, if there’s a legitimate problem, we’ll happily stand behind our work and make things right. But we won’t need to. We’re going to make sure your arrows are awesome the first time around. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? WHEN WILL I GET MY ARROWS? The majority (about 94%) of our custom pro-shop orders are processed, built, inspected and shipped in 2-4 working days. In the slower months (Jan-July) we usually beat that average by a day. In the busier months (August-December) we tend to run an extra day. So all things considered, an official 1-5 day lead time is the most honest estimate we can offer. We know our customers are anxious to get their hands on the goods and get started, so we keep our heads down and get our orders out as quickly as we possibly can. If there is any kind of snag or exception, we’ll let you know. But generally, it’s safe to assume your custom pro-shop order will be on its way in a few working days. Our customer service email system will keep you alerted to your order status along the way. Actual delivery times will vary by distance from the pro-shop/warehouse in Finland.
