The DOC 250SS Instant-Kill Trap is an authentic, New Zealand-manufactured trap designed for capturing martens, mink, weasels, and squirrels. Made from stainless materials, these traps are among the most powerful on the market and are certified under international humane trapping standards.

The DOC 250SS trap is equipped with a treadle plate that triggers the trap when an animal steps on it. The trigger sensitivity is easily adjustable in multiple ways and can even be fine-tuned to be sensitive enough for a mouse. This product is suitable for cottages, residential areas, hunters, and professional use alike.

This versatile trap gives installers the option to use either pass-through enclosures or traditional baited boxes. Installation is simple: just attach the trap to the bottom of the enclosure with two screws, and it’s ready for sensitivity adjustment and setting.

When using instant-kill traps, they must always be installed inside a protective enclosure that prevents access by anything other than the target animal. The proper and safe use of these traps is the responsibility of the person setting them. Under no circumstances should traps be placed where pets, children, or unauthorized persons could access them. Any trap placed on land, in trees, or over water must be enclosed in a box with an entrance diameter no larger than 8 cm (3.15 inches). Traps must also be maintained regularly.
